SERVE AT CAPITAL
We invest our time, talents & resources as we serve and love others.
While God asks us to love Him first and completely, he also asks us to live out our commitment to Jesus in a public way, loving our neighbors and letting our actions demonstrate our faith.
Our four weekend services groove and hum due to an army of volunteers who meet, greet, seat, brew, smile, hug, click, set-up and tear-down! Our Weekend Volunteer Ministry Teams include Welcome Team, Set-Up, Sound, Seating and many more.
Fill out the form below to check out a weekend volunteer team and love and build your community right here at Capital!
Our greeting team is usually the first experience a guest has with Capital. Holding open a door and greeting with a smile can brighten the day of everyone coming to a Capital service. If you love people, this is the team for you!
The seating team is responsible for helping folks find a seat. But more than that, they help people feel welcome and warmly invite them to take a seat among family and friends!
VISUAL TECH TEAM
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes of a Capital service. from the countdown to videos and slides, the Visual Tech team might be out of sight but their work makes a huge impact. No prior technical skills are required, training is provided! And by the way, this team always has a lot of fun.
Our sound team plays a critical role in our weekend services. From mixing the band during worship, to making sure the message is literally heard loud and clear, these guys (and gals!) will get you training on some of the best equipment to get the audio aspects of a weekend at Capital nicely tuned.
On Sundays, students enjoy their own youth service with a message, band, social interaction and most of all, spiritual growth. Wednesday nights are small group study times where students get connected with their own adult volunteer leaders and dig a little deeper into the Word and their own life experiences.
While adults attend the service, our Capital kiddos sing, craft, snack, make friends and learn about our Lord. We welcome volunteers that are committed to caring for God’s littlest ones and helping to facilitate their spiritual and social development. Kids classes range from nursery age all the way through 5th grade. Curriculum is prepared and set, volunteers are asked to love our kids and deliver the message!
CAPITAL CAFE TEAM
Our Capital Cafe is a popular area where important social interaction occurs. The Cafe plays a critical role in the atmosphere at Capital as it is a chance to relax and commune with one another. And no, you do not have to know how to make a skinny soy mochachino latte. But yes, you do need to wear an apron and have fun! Training provided and a love of the fresh brewed bean is suggested!
GUEST CENTRAL TEAM
It can be scary to check out a new community. Guest Central is a point of connection for people to find their home at Capital. This team of volunteers helps answer questions about how people can get involved, and what Capital is all about. If you LOVE Capital and want to plug people in, check out this incredible team.
PARK CITY WELCOME TEAM
In Park City, our welcome team connects with people by greeting, seating, and preparing coffee at our weekly service. All you need is a smiling face! Arrive 15 minutes early (childcare provided) and plug in!
PARK CITY TECH & SOUND
At every Capital service, the music and the message are accompanied by slides and quality sound. You don’t have to be trained on these systems to sign up – we’ll equip you with everything you need to help with he sights and sounds of Capital in Park City!
PARK CITY KIDS & YOUTH
Our Park City service includes Kid’s and Youth ministry! Sign up to teach lessons, play games, or prepare snacks as we help teens and tots grow to know and love the Lord.
PARK CITY SET UP & CLOSERS
We share the beautiful Creekside building with another church – that means we set up and tear down the chairs, curtains, and tables that help make the main meeting room look and feel the way they do. Grab a check list and join us!
