Primary text: Psalm 25

If You Really Want God’s Guidance, Become The Kind Of Person God Guides.

If your child complains that the neighbor’s bought their kid a car, you can remind them, “You’re only nine years old.”

If your employee criticizes you because you still haven’t launched their idea into the market place, you might tell them, “We just secured funding for the business.”

If your roommate calls you a tyrant because you keep telling them to turn their music down, you can point out the fact, “It’s 3 AM.”

Timing is everything. And trusting the timing of those who understand the full scope of the situation will save you a lot of stress and anxiety.

This week in The Life and Lyrics of David, we’re invited to reflect on the perfection of God’s timing and how we can trust that he sees everything we don’t.

Other texts in this message: James 1:5-8

Homework

Identify 2-3 areas you lack wisdom and ask God for it
every day this month.

Identify an area in which you know you’re ignoring
God and stop it.

Pray through Psalm 25.
