Primary text: Genesis 4:1-15

If you don't talk it out, you'll act it out.
“Show, don’t tell” is a fundamental rule of storytelling.
“You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?” is a genuine question.
“Actions speak louder than words” is a phrase mean to get us moving.
There’s nothing wrong with any of these sayings. They are the key to getting things done. However, what they don’t mean is that there’s never a place for talking or that discussion doesn’t matter. In fact, skipping the conversation where the best course of action is determined is one of the most dangerous things we do.
This week, God and the Movies looks at a powerful example of the price we pay, and the price paid by those around us, when we’re all action and no conversation.
Other texts in this message: Matthew 26:20-29, Genesis 3:21, 1 Corinthians 11:23-24, 1 Corinthians 11:25-26
