“What Would James Do?”

Does anger have an influence on your life? James warns us that we should be slow to become angry because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Anger is a tool we use to fix things, but it often does more damage. Anger is a response we use to accomplish our will but by using it, we often step outside of God’s will. Dallas Willard summed up the wisdom of James when he observed “everything you can do with anger, you can do better without it.”
