“Love is Louder”
Lord, our souls ache over the hatred in our world. And we know that yours does, too. We pray for the victims of racial prejudice in our country and around the world: May you bring comfort, hope and healing to the impossible situations faced by so many. Lord, we’re sorry for our ignorance and we’re sorry for ignoring injustice. Expose any prejudice or partiality and help us see it for what it is. Lord, help us as a community to become part of the solution, to be a community shaped by love and defined by love. Help us show our world the power of love and grace and peace. We pray it starts with us. We pray it extends to the neighborhood and the workplace and the marketplace. And we pray this in the name of Jesus who gave His life that we might live.
May we be known as His disciples because of how we Love One Another.
