How much of your life are you giving away? It sounds counter-intuitive and requires faith, but Jesus tells us you have to lose your life to find it. When we invest our time, talents, and resources in the lives of others, we experience the joy of an others-focused life. As Andy Stanley puts it, “The value of a life is always measured by how much of it is given away.”

Look for opportunities to serve. Start with the people closest to you and work outwork. How can you serve your spouse or your children? Look around the office, dormitory, or your neighborhood.
