“Going There”

In our last message studying the book of James, we are left with a final challenge. One more directive. James doesn’t call out our sin and lead us to repentance, he invites us to call out the sin in others and lead them to repentance. In his final words, James wants us to know: Love isn’t afraid to go there.

Henry Cloud reminds us, “the amount of truth a relationship can handle is proportional to the amount of perceived love that’s present.” As you engage in crucial conversations, may God give you so much love for the people around you, that you’ll find the courage to go there, with God’s grace.
