“Faithful not Predictable”

Luke 2:19 tells us that Mary treasured up all the things that have happened to her and pondered them in her heart. When we consider the events leading up to the birth of Jesus, we see four experiences which Mary pondered and prized: injustice, inconvenience, insufficiency, and incompatibility. We face these same events in our life and it’s important we recognize that God is faithful, not predictable. Especially during seasons in which God isn’t doing what we think he should be doing! Is there an injustice in your life you think God should correct? Is there a problem you face you think God should fix? There are real questions many of us are asking but as we pray, may we remember that God’s plans may differ from ours, but He is faithful, not predictable.
