We have a thriving community full of small groups, demographic and interest-based groups and volunteer opportunities in which you can not only share your gifts but you can also get someone else’s gift right back. While parents are listening to a Saturday or Sunday message, our Capital Kids are growing in their faith, learning important foundational truths and having a lot of fun! Our Nursery & Toddler rooms focus on sharing the love of God with children under 3 and our Preschool, Kindergarten – sixth grade classes participate in appropriate and engaging curriculum that changes focus approximately every 6 weeks.

The Edge, Capital’s youth ministry, meets Wednesday nights downstairs in the Capital Youth Room. The Edge knows how to balance work and play – these teens are just as serious about foosball and videogames as they are about hearing about God’s truth. Hold on tight and journey to the Edge!
Weekly, Thursday Nights @ 8pm
Capital partners with Campus Crusade for Christ here in SLC. Join “CRU,” the local weekly meeting of Campus Crusade for Christ. The aim is to be a place where REAL PEOPLE make REAL RELATIONSHIPS with each other and the REAL GOD! Other small groups happen throughout the week at the U, Westminster and in the community.
This gang can be found doing everything from camping in southern Utah to serving dinners at the Ronald McDonald House to chatting online through Google groups. Join the adventure and find out what activities they have planned down the road.
This group includes couples that have one child, a gaggle of children, absolutely none of those little people, a dog, a cat or just each other. The only requirement is that you made it to the end of the aisle.
Capital is one of the newest Chapter of Mothers of Preschool Children! MOPS International is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging, equipping and developing every mother of a preschooler to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. MOPS meetings will be held at Capital every other Friday morning from 9-11:30am. The Moppets program provides full childcare and curriculum.
If you are 40 and over at Capital, watch out because the members of this group will hunt you down! This enthusiastic crowd meets at least monthly for whatever strikes their fancy – events range from progressive dinners to the Ballet to a U of U basketball game.
The women at Capital enjoy the simple pleasure of spending time together! Brunches are held around the valley once a quarter. And the Women’s Retreat is held each spring. The theme of the 2009 Retreat was ‘Organic God,’ which included guest speaker Margaret Feinberg. Over 100 women attended to enjoy each others company and share in the wisdom Margaret shared.

Join this small group of women at the south end of the valley for study and fellowship! We will meet every other Wednesday at 9:00am beginning September 16th as we study Beth Moore’s DVD series “The “Inheritance”. The group meets at the home of Heather Henderson in Lehi and the cost for the listening guide is $5. For more information contact Wendy Charves.
